Police Blotter: DUI, Identity Theft

ALCOHOL
Kelly E. Anderson, 27, of the 1600 block of Woodcrest, Mundelein, was charged with driving under the influence, driving with a suspended registration, illegal lane use and failure to change address at 1:37 a.m. Jan. 4 at the intersection of Arlington Heights Road and Route 83.
IDENTITY THEFT

A resident reported he was contacted by a bank and a large business on Jan. 2 asking him if he was attempting to open an account. He advised he was not. The resident requested a report be made so that he could place a fraud watch on his account.

A complainant reported that the newly installed shopping center lights at Strathmore North were shining directly into his house at 6:30 p.m. Jan. 3. An officer called the management company and explained the situation.
