Police Blotter: Drunk Man Falls Asleep at the Movies

ALCOHOL

A complainant reported an intoxicated man sleeping in the Buffalo Grove Theater at 5:13 p.m. May 27. Officers responded and escorted the man out of the business. 
   
ATTEMPTED BURGLARY  

A resident of the 2100 block of Apple Hill advised while he was out of town from May 21-27, pry marks were made on the front door and window. Entry was not gained to the home.

DRUGS

Jenna N. Cordaro, 20, of the 100 block of Harbor, Lake Zurich, was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia at 11:45 p.m. May 28 at Milwaukee Avenue and Lake-Cook Road.  

FRAUD

Two people attempted to pay with fraudulent checks at 5:15 p.m. May 28 at Jewel.    

PROPERTY DAMAGE

A citizen reported his vehicle was damaged while it was parked at the Buffalo Grove Golf Course between 3-6 p.m. May 28.

SUSPICIOUS VEHICLE

A resident of the 400 block of Raphael reported a suspicious car was parked on the street prior to his call at 3:40 p.m. May 28. Officers responded and could not locate the car. The complainant was told to call at the time that the car is seen.
