Police Blotter: Drug Charges, Theft From Bank Account

DRUGS

Trey L. Grant, 18, of the 1000 block of Inverrary Lane, Riverwoods, was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia at 3:20 a.m. June 10 on the 1300 block of Kent Lane.

SUSPICIOUS PERSON

A resident of the 200 block of Timber Hill Road reported seeing two youths hanging around a neighbor’s home, and one ran up to the house from the sidewalk at 6 p.m. June 9. An officer located the youths and one stated that he was cleaning off his shoes on the lawn. The officer took the youths’ information and allowed them to leave. The officer later met with the neighbor who stated that nothing was missing or disturbed.

THEFT

A resident reported that someone made two unauthorized withdrawals totaling $1,000 from her account between June 8 and June 9. The transactions were made in Chicago.
