The following information was supplied by the Buffalo Grove Police Department. Arrests do not indicate a conviction. Email cristel@patch.com with questions about this blotter.

COMPLAINT

A complainant told police that he honked at the car in front of him because the other driver was taking his time making a left turn from a private drive at 6:15 p.m. Nov. 15 at Buffalo Grove and Lake-Cook roads. The other driver then got out of his car, yelled at the complainant, slapped at the car window, and threw a cigarette butt at the window. An officer spoke with the other driver who stated that he wanted to tell the complainant to learn patience. He also said that he would exercise more restraint in the future.

THEFT

Angelina A. Migliore, 40, of the 100 block of Grace Lane, Barrington, was charged with theft at 6:40 p.m. Nov. 15, following a police investigation. A Buffalo Grove resident reported Oct. 6 that money, a store gift card and a watch were taken from her home in July. Migliore, who police said was employed as the resident’s dog walker, turned herself in after an arrest warrant was issued.
