Police Blotter: Cracked Windshield, Lost Dog

ANIMALS

A resident of the 500 block of Bernard Drive reported seeing a stray dog at 12:49 p.m. April 21. Officers located the dog and brought back to the station. The owner was identified from a village dog tag and was contacted. A short time later, the dog was picked up by its owner. 

COMPLAINT

A complainant reported April 19 an unknown vehicle was parked in a visitor’s spot on the 100 block of Fox Hill for the last several days. Officers attempted to contact the registered owner, but were not unsuccessful. The complainant was advised to contact the homeowners association or property manager.

A complainant reported her vehicle sustained a cracked windshield between April 18-20 on the 1100 block of Dundee Road. She was unsure how or exactly when it occurred. 

THEFT

A complainant reported that someone used her information to obtain two free phones from her cell phone provider between April 7-8. She was given information on how to check her credit report.
