Police Blotter: Car Windows Smashed, Property Stolen

ARREST

Shannon M. Spence, 28, of the 300 block of Lakeview, Buffalo Grove, was charged with leaving the scene of vehicle damaged accident, driving without insurance and failure to yield Aug. 16 on the 300 block of Lakeview.

BURGLARY

Someone broke the passenger side window of a vehicle parked Aug. 16 on the 1100 block of Dundee Road and removed several items inside. 

Someone broke a rear window of a vehicle and took several items Aug. 17 in a parking lot on the 100 block of Raupp Boulevard.

Someone broke a vehicle’s passenger side windows and took two purses Aug. 17 on the 900 block of McHenry Road.

Complainant reported the theft of two purses after discovering the passenger side windows were broken while parked in a lot Aug. 17 on the 900 block of McHenry Road. 

Someone broke a vehicle’s passenger side window and took a purse Aug. 17 on the 900 block of McHenry Road.

COMPLAINT

A complainant reported seeing a vehicle driving too fast at 10 a.m. Aug. 16 on the 600 block of Deerfield Parkway. Officers contacted the driver and spoke to the person about their driving.

SUSPICIOUS VEHICLE

A resident of the 1300 block of Larchmont reported an occupied vehicle on the roadway in front of their house at 12:09 p.m. Aug. 16. Officers responded and learned the vehicle belonged to a neighbor.
