Police Blotter: Car Burglarized, Decorations Damaged

BURGLARY

A complainant reported her driver’s side rear window was broken and her purse was stolen from the floor in the back while it was parked on the 1300 block of Dundee Road between 10 p.m. Dec. 31 and 2 a.m. Jan. 1.

COMPLAINT

A resident of the 100 block of Steeple Chase reported hearing loud noises from the unit above hers at 1 a.m. Jan. 1. She asked the resident to please keep the noise down but the noise continued. Officers spoke with the resident who became argumentative. The complainant advised she would continue working with the homeowners association.

PROPERTY DAMAGE

A resident of the 100 block of Crestview reported at 8 p.m. Jan. 1 that the Christmas decorations in her front yard were damaged.  

A resident of the 300 block of Hawthorn reported at 8:45 p.m. Jan. 1 that someone damaged his Christmas decorations and his overhead garage door.
