Police Blotter: Bus Passenger Kicked Off

ALCOHOL

Frances J. Valentino, 57,  of the 200 block of Windsor Drive, Arlington Heights, was charged with driving under the influence, driving with a blood-alcohol content above the legal limit and failure to reduce speed to avoid a crash at 10:52 p.m. April 23 on Dundee Road at Golfview.

COMPLAINT

A complainant reported that an adult bus passenger was yelling at a Metra bus driver at 9:30 a.m. April 24 on Deerfield Road near Busch Parkway. Officers contacted the passenger, who was removed from the bus and provided a ride.

SUSPICIOUS PHONE CALLS

A resident reported receiving multiple calls from a person on April 25 who said the resident won the Mega Million lottery and needed to purchase a Green Dot Card for $380 in order to receive the prize money. The resident realized this was a scam.
