Police Blotter: BGHS Students Charged With Fighting, Truancy

These were among the reports released Feb. 23 by the Buffalo Grove Police Department.

ALCOHOL

Patti N. North, 21, of the 900 block of Charlela Lane, Elk Grove, was charged with driving under the influence and driving without a rear registration plate at 11:20 p.m. Feb. 22 on Lake-Cook Road at Timberhill Road.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT

Two 16-year-old students were arrested and charged for engaging in a physical altercation at 12:10 p.m. Feb. 22 at Buffalo Grove High School. The students were released to their parents.

DRIVING COMPLAINT

A driver was cited after a resident of the 400 block of Foxford Drive reported that a vehicle disregarded a school bus stop arm as children were unloading at 4:10 p.m. Feb. 22.

THEFT

A resident learned that two subjects were arrested in Kansas City for allegedly using the resident’s identity at a store. Police learned of the arrests after the resident was contacted by a store representative wishing to verify the opening of a large credit account on Feb. 22. Police gave the resident information on protecting his ID and his credit.

TRUANCY

A 17-year-old was cited for truancy at 9:50 a.m. Feb. 22 at Buffalo Grove High School.
