Man Dies While Boating; Driver Crashes On Route 53

A Buffalo Grove man died after a fight while boating and a Buffalo Grove woman was charged after striking a person and a vehicle while allegedly distracted by her cell phone, according to media reports.
The Lake County News-Sun reported that 38-year-old Shekhar Aravind died Tuesday after falling from a boat into Lake Michigan over the weekend.
In a separate incident, 23-year-old Kelly Luch was charged with operating an electronic device while driving, after allegedly swiping a semitrailer Monday on Route 53 and striking a man changing a tire on the side of the road, according to a report by the Daily Herald.
