Golf Outing to Benefit Lake County Law Enforcement Programs

Registration is underway for the Lake County Chiefs of Police Association's August golf fundraiser in Buffalo Grove.

Golfers are invited to hit the greens Aug. 14 in Buffalo Grove to support Lake County law enforcement programs.

The Lake County Chiefs of Police Golf Outing at the will feature a scramble, raffles and a helicopter ball drop.

Proceeds will help Lake County police departments address underage drinking and support the , among other projects.

Registration will run from 7:30-8:15 a.m., with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m.

Registration is $85 per golfer and includes a continental breakfast, a GPS-equipped cart and lunch. Up to 144 golfers can attend. Tickets for lunch only are $20.

Payment is due by Aug. 1. Those who pay by July 15 will receive a coupon for a weekday golf coupon toward future greens fees.

A registration form is attached at right. Forms should be mailed to Cynthia Peart, Mundelein Police Dept., 221 N. Lake Street, Mundelein, IL 60060. Checks should be made payable to Lake County Chiefs of Police Assoc.
