FBI: Rolling Meadows Bank Robbery Arrest

The FBI has charged an Arlington Heights man in connection with a Sept. 29 bank robbery in Rolling Meadows.

The FBI has charged a 53-year-old Arlington Heights man with robbing a TCF Bank at 1415 Algonquin Road in Rolling Meadows on Sept. 29.

Alexander Stover has been charged with one count of bank robbery. Stover was taken into custody by Arlington Heights police on Sept. 30.

A press release from the FBI states that Arlington Heights police recognized Stover from surveillance photos of the robbery and went to his residence to investigate.

Stover appeard before U.S. Magistrate Judge Susan Collins on Sunday and is being held without bond. Stover faces up to 20 years in prison.

The Chicago Tribune reported that Stover handed the teller at the bank a note and a bag, and left with $7,262.
