Do You Have a Golden Ticket?
The Buffalo Grove Fire Department is looking for the holders of two unclaimed tickets that were distributed in Halloween treat bags.
When Buffalo Grove firefighters passed out treat bags to children as they trick-or-treated in the village, five of those bags contained a “Golden Ticket” redeemable for a ride to school in a fire truck.
As of Monday, three of the tickets had been claimed. The Buffalo Grove Fire Department is asking for the other two recipients to come forward so that the winners’ rides can be arranged. The Golden Ticket holders should call the fire department at (847) 537-0995.

“The kids seem to enjoy it,” Fire Chief Terry Vavra said.
