Catalytic Converter Stolen from Parked Car

DRUGS
Jose O. Segovia, 23, of the 500 block of 6th Avenue, Des Plaines, was charged with possession of cannabis, disobeying a traffic control device and driving on a suspended license at 4:50 p.m. Jan. 20 at the intersection of Bernard Drive and Raupp Boulevard.
PROPERTY DAMAGE
A resident of the 1000 block of Camden reported hearing noise outside at 2:40 a.m. Jan. 20 and later found that their mailbox had been damaged.

SUSPICIOUS PHONE CALL
A complainant reported receiving a phone call from a Homeland Security employee who asked personal questions about their resident status and passport on Jan. 20. The complainant became suspicious and hung up the phone. Officers checked with Homeland Security and they advised the call didn’t come from their office. It was determined that the call was a scam.

A catalytic converter was reported stolen Jan. 18 from a vehicle that was parked on the 100 block of Arlington Heights Road.
