Buffalo Grove Man Faces More Charges from 2012 Fire

Gabriel Horwich has been indicted in Lake County for felony property damage charges in connection with a fire in Buffalo Grove.

A Buffalo Grove man who was charged last year in connection with a large grass fire that was sparked by fireworks is now facing felony charges in Lake County.

Gabriel R. Horwich, 22, was indicted Oct. 2 by a Lake County grand jury on two counts of criminal damage to property.

Buffalo Grove police arrested Horwich after a resident reported a fire and an off-duty officer from another department spotted Horwich running from the area after allegedly shooting off fireworks on July 8, 2012.
