Buffalo Grove in Top 50 Statewide for DUI Arrests

Buffalo Grove police made 165 drunk driving arrests in 2012, according to the Alliance Against Intoxicated Motorists

Buffalo Grove ranks 37th in the state for DUI arrests in 2012.

According to the Alliance Against Intoxicated Motorists (AAIM), Buffalo Grove police arrested 165 people for driving under the influence last year. That adds up to 2.43 DUI arrests per officer.

Rockford topped the list with 686 DUI arrests last year. There were several Illinois municipalities that didn’t arrest any drunk drivers in 2012 including Pearl City, Union, St. Anne and Astoria.
