2 Residents Report Identity Theft

ANIMALS

A resident of the 1400 block of Oxford reported finding a large brown dog in their backyard at 3:52 p.m. Sept. 28. Officers found the dog to have a collar with tags. The dog was then brought to its owner. 

IDENTITY THEFT

A resident reported several unauthorized accounts were opened in his name between Aug. 10 and Sept. 27. The complainant was given advice on contacting each company. 

A resident reported receiving notice that several unauthorized accounts were opened in his name between June 1 and Sept. 28. He was given information in contacting the companies involved. 

PHONE HARASSMENT

A complainant reported receiving numerous harassing calls and text messages from another person on Sept. 27. Officers contacted the caller and advised him to refrain from future contact. 

PROPERTY DAMAGE

A window on the 700 block of Hastings was damaged between Sept. 26-27. It is unknown how the damage occurred.
