WOMEN'S SELF-DEFENSE SEMINAR - SATURDAY JUNE 28TH FROM 9 - 10 AM

Have you been thinking about studying self-defense, but just don't feel you have the time to devote to studying a martial art?  The fact is that while martial arts are excellent for keeping you fit and teaching you about another culture, they don't often focus on simple, straightforward self-defense techniques that can be used against the most common attacks on the street.

This seminar strips away the art and focuses entirely on simple and effective self-defense, and specifically the types of situations that women may encounter.  And because a person can only learn so many new things in one seminar, the focus will be on learning a few key targets on the body, a few hand and leg strikes, and how to defend yourself from the ground.  Additionally, participants will be able to suggest scenarios or situations they would like to learn how to deal with.

Even if you cannot find the time to take regular self-defense classes, by attending this seminar you will learn basic skills, which if practiced regularly on your own or with a partner, will help keep you safe.

Walk-ins are welcome on the day of the seminar.  Cost is $20.
