Food Donations Sought by Rotary Clubs of Buffalo Grove and Wheeling

For over 25 years, the Rotary Clubs of Buffalo Grove and Wheeling have collected food for families in need in our towns. The food is distributed to families for the Thanksgiving holidays. The current need has not been greater in those 25 years than it is now.

You can help by depositing non-perishable food in boxes at our collection sites. Those sites include: Buffalo Grove Village Hall, Buffalo Grove Fitness Center, Buffalo Grove Police Station, Buffalo Grove Park District Alcott Community Center, Continental Restaurant, Wheeling Park District Fitness Center, and the Edward Jones offices of Buffalo Grove and Wheeling.

Items most in need are: Canned veggies and fruits, dried beans, rice, mac and cheese, Ramen Noodles, soup, noodles, boxed stuffing, cereal, peanut butter and jelly.
