Sente to Hold Community Dialogue on Education
Vernon Hills, Ill. – State Representative Carol Sente, D-Vernon Hills, is hosting an Education Citizens' Advisory Committee Meeting on Thursday, December 12, from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. in the Library of Vernon Hills High School.
“Our schools have been faced with a diverse set of challenges in these turbulent economic times and it is one of my top priorities to help them overcome these hurdles, while also ensuring our children continue to receive the highest caliber of education," Sente said. "By holding this dialogue, I am hopeful that we will be able to isolate the issues of top concern to those who have an interest in public education and identify possible solutions."
During Sente's meeting, local parents, teachers, administrators, and school board members will have the opportunity to come together and discuss the state of education in the community, share their ideas for future legislation, identify concerns, and review current education bills.
