Sente Seeks Constituent Feedback Through Town Hall
Vernon Hills, Ill. – In addition to engaging with constituents at community events, State Representative Carol Sente, D-Vernon Hills, will also be hosting an End of Session Town Hall Meeting at the Vernon Area Library on June 26, at 6:30 p.m., to gather resident feedback.
“While the input I receive from residents at their doors and at my coffees is invaluable, it is also important that I provide other outlets for them to share their thoughts and learn about what I have done to promote performance based budgeting, government transparency, responsible pension reform and growth in our economy,” Sente said. “The issues that remain unresolved in the General Assembly are very multi-faceted. I believe that an important step towards resolving these problems is not only interacting with my constituents directly, but also initiating a communal dialogue where we can work towards identifying a bi-partisan and bi-cameral solution together.”
Sente’s Town Hall Meeting will begin with an update on legislation that she has sponsored and the significant bills that have passed this spring session. Then, for the remainder of the evening, Sente will open the floor for questions or comments from the audience, including ideas for future legislation.
Advance registration is not required for this event. For more information, please contact Sente’s full-time constituent service office at (847) 478-9909 or email RepSente@gmail.com at any time.
