Sente Invites Residents to Town Hall Meeting

Vernon Hills, Ill. – State Representative Carol Sente, D-Vernon Hills, is holding a Town Hall Meeting on Tuesday, January 21, at 6:30 p.m. at the Wheeling Village Hall located at 2 Community Boulevard in Wheeling.

“Many important issues were addressed in the General Assembly this past year, including some of my priorities like performance based state budgeting, responsible pension reform, and efforts to grow our economy,” Sente said. "These meetings are part of my ongoing efforts to engage with the community and identify new ways local and state agencies can work together to benefit our community."

Sente is partnering with State Representative Elaine Nekritz, D-Northbrook, who represents the other half of Wheeling, and Wheeling Village President Dean Argiris. Residents are encouraged to come out to receive an update on local and state initiatives, ask questions, and collaborate on ideas for how to improve the community.

"I am looking forward to gathering input and hearing ideas from the community as I put together my legislative agenda for this coming session," Sente said, “Many laws begin as ideas from community members, so I encourage everyone to attend and be part of the solution."
