Vernon Hills, Ill. – In addition to advocating for constituents in Springfield, State Rep. Carol Sente, D-Vernon Hills, is co-hosting a Recycle-O-Rama/Shred Day and facilitating Mobile Office Hours in efforts to continue connecting constituents with state services.
“Offering helpful services is very important to me, as it allows me to provide solutions to the everyday problems members of our community face,” Sente said. “At our Electronics Recycling and Shred Day event, residents can safely dispose of the old electronics and confidential documents that are gathering dust in their garages, basements, and attics.”
On the morning of Saturday, Nov. 16, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., Sente will be co-sponsoring a Recycle-O-Rama and Shred Day with the Vernon Hills Park District, the Solid Waste Agency of Lake County (SWALCO), and Westfield Hawthorn Mall. Residents are encouraged to stop by the mall to take advantage of this free opportunity for eco-friendly electronics recycling and confidential document shredding. In addition, Sente’s staff will be available for Mobile Office Hours at Bontà, located at 430 N. Milwaukee Avenue in Lincolnshire, on Saturday, Nov. 16, from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. to help residents take advantage of the services offered by her full-time constituent service office.
