LINCOLNSHIRE, IL – State Representative Carol Sente (D-Vernon Hills) co-sponsored a local edition of the Illinois State Senior Spelling Bee with the Sedgebrook retirement community and the Illinois Department of Aging on Monday afternoon.
“I was very impressed with the contestants who took the stage to showcase their spelling abilities, and enjoyed meeting close to ninety of their peers cheering them on from the crowd,” Sente said. “I am hopeful that our champions will continue to make the 59th District proud as they progress to the next level of the competition.”
