Buffalo Grove Area Chamber of Commerce Networkers Meeting On February 14th, 2012

The Buffalo Grove Area Chamber of Commerce Networkers group consists of business people who meet twice monthly to network, share leads and occasionally have some laughs. The attached video shares a typical agenda which consists of networking, announcements and generally two presentations, one educational and one informative.  A continental breakfast is available.

Members connect with fellow members to develop relationships and hone their networking skills. At times, these relationships lead to business being conducted with fellow members as well as developing an additional arm of a combined, strong referral network.

The Networkers group is a social networking group, as opposed to a traditional leads sharing group, so although encouraged, leads and referrals are not tallied. Membership is open to all chamber members on a non-exclusive basis. 

Educational offerings and workshops are offered which deal with both face to face as well as Web based networking. For those interested in expanding their business via social networking on the Web or job seekers looking for work, the group sponsors a LinkedIn networking group as well as a blog Web.

Regular meetings are held the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month (sans conflicts) at the Chamber office, 50-1/2 Raupp Blvd., Buffalo Grove, IL. Guests are welcome to attend two meetings but must join to attend again. Group membership entails a small annual fee which includes a continental breakfast and annual holiday party breakfast.
