Meet the Citizens Who Are Part of My Very Small Coalition for Safe Drinking Water and the Clean Water Act

“Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed, citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has.” ~ Margaret Mead

Founders of The Lake County-Vernon Township Coalition for Safe Drinking Water & The Clean Water Act:

Lisa Stone – 1) Human Rights Activist  2) Former Trustee of Buffalo Grove, Illinois  60089.

*Sworn by oath on May 4, 2009 - 4 year term.  http://electlisastone.com/

* Historic Illinois Recall on November 2, 2010, for daring to question the operations of Buffalo Grove Government.  My recall was funded, in part, by current and former Buffalo Grove Government officials.  For example, President Jeff Braiman, a current candidate running for Lake County Judge, even expended $1,500.00 of his very own time and money toward my removal.

See my comment below on the the Daily Herald Article: "Concerns raised, but no one responding" and then watch the Buffalo Grove Village Board Meeting of April 2, 2012 (scroll bar to 23:50) which I've supplied below.

My posted comment:  "The April 2, 2012, Village Meeting is critical to watch. Overlook my overt outrage with irresponsible government, hence my "edgy" communication style. I've battled BG's repression to "speak" only to "desirable" Board topics since the day I was sworn into Government in 2009, but peaked when I hit the Land & Lakes Landfill issue in Jan. 2010, which was the Board's basis for my Recall... for those following the issue....appears I hit a raw nerve. Drag scroll bar to 23:50 and watch until Braiman calls an emergent 5 minute recess - his only way out."

IEPA Historic "First Hearing on Post Closure Care" exploring L&L landfill took place on November 9, 2010.  I personally requested the hearing per urgent instruction by (Kent Law) Environmental Professor Keith Harley of the Chicago Environmental Law Clinic, who generously took my case pro bono.  Land & Lakes Landfills and Composting Facilities are currently owned by the Mayor of Lake Forest Jim Cowhey and family.

Bonnie: Your story is so disturbing on so many levels of humanity, especially related to children. The truth will you set your family free now that you've found your voice. It's been a long time but your family will get its swing back. Hang in there my friend.

Mr. Blutarsky: Those of us living in the real world on planet earth are terrified by anomalies like you, as you clearly condone such deviant behavior described above. Trust me, as least on this one. When you come out of your "Animal House" you will realize how inane your comments are. You can call it a "ramble" but realize this Mr. B.... you can't do a thing about it as the truth is the ultimate defense and has surfaced. John Belushi is turning over in his grave by your misuse of his picture. He was a comedian, actor and musician....not a freak. You are so offensive on so many levels.

Lisa – You are my hero!! I know you are extremely busy with your great accomplishment with your Land and Lakes Coalition. I am on your side and would love to be a part of it. Your accomplishments are unbelievable. I know you were treated very poor by the Village of Buffalo Grove and I was too. I was a Village of Buffalo Grove Employee of the Public Work Administration, working with Water Utility, Forestry and Street Department. I worked for the Village of Buffalo Grove for 13 years and my family and I have been residents of Buffalo Grove for 19 years. In 2010 my husband and I found out our daughter’s, ages, 15 and 18 were sexually abused by our best friend/neighbor. At the time the girls were between the ages of 13 and 15 and my older daughter was between 18 and 19. This man, 43 years of age at the time, changed all of our lives for the worst. Our families spent many vacations, BBQ’s, parties etc… This predator was convicted with 2 years’ probation and 10 years to be put on the sexual predators list. Although he was not sentenced any jail time, clearly as we all know justice was not served. We are now in Civil Litigation which is going nowhere and has been for the last 2 years. Lisa is helping us along through all of this and has helped us to find justice for our family. I believe in Lisa Stone 100%.

PATCH: My prior comments on this blog you have chosen to remove. It was not the BG Patch Editor Cristal Mohrman, but instead it was Tara Tesinu, the Senior Regional Editor of the Patch. Dear Ms. Tesinu, As to Lisa’s post I only told the truth and it was my libelous not the Patch. I am deeply offended and the Patch has insulted my family in every way possible. I really hope your children or anyone else’s children are never sexually abused by anyone. Our family is struggling to get through this. Our family is scarred for life. We have been to many Doctors and Social Workers. Lisa Stone is actually strong enough to help us remove our scars. She has been our motivation to move on to our next level. I find it overwhelming and hypocritical that The Patch deleted my comment on Lisa Stone’s News Report, and they did not delete my News Report written by Cristel Morhman from 2010. Please read the link below. http://buffalogrove.patch.com/articles/former-resident-pleas-guilty-to-sexual-abuse Please explain to me and the public. Bonnie George
