School District 103’s LEARNING FUND FOUNDATION Announces “Mad About Science” Event on Saturday, April 13th, 1:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m. at Daniel Wright Junior High School

The Learning Fund Foundation (LFF) is hosting a free, fun and entertaining learning experience for the whole family, “Mad About Science.” The event will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2013, from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. at Daniel Wright Junior High School, 1370 N. Riverwoods Road in Lincolnshire, Illinois. The event will feature a “Fire & Ice” show, raffle prizes and silent auction experiences. This district-wide event is open to all District 103 families and the entire community. Families will enjoy age-based science stations with interactive experiments after the 45-minute "Fire & Ice" show. Additionally, families will view a simulated classroom science lesson integrating Smart Boards and iPads – purchased through the Foundation’s recent and past initiatives. For more information, visit www.103learningfund.org.
