Every year during Labor Day festivities, the fine Men and Women of the Buffalo Grove Fire Department make a special effort to support the MDA Foundation. No doubt you saw them and their supporting cast of family members, retired Fire Service Members and Volunteers around town asking for donations.

If you attended Sunday's Parade - you would be hard pressed to not notice the multiple volunteers, all carrying boots. Asking for donations as they walk the parade route.
Speaking briefly with Event coordinator Joe Alexander Saturday evening at the Buffalo Grove Days First Aid station, he was positive about this years efforts - and thankful for all the community support. He expected to have a final tally of the collections by Wednesday.
