From Cupcakes to Pad Thai - We Serve It All!
It’s a ritual. The first thing I do at Buffalo Grove Days is tour the Food Tent. I know that my friends will be asking what’s good and what I recommend. Let’s face it. We all eat and we all enjoy a meal with friends, especially at a community festival like Buffalo Grove Days. Lucky for me, as a volunteer and a regular attendee, I’m usually at the fest almost every day and make several stops at the food tent.
The Food Tent is really Buffalo Grove’s “Taste.” Local chefs present their signature items - the dishes we have all come to love. The offerings are so extensive that visitors can start with appetizers and work their way through a complete meal all the way to dessert. Another nice aspect of the Food Tent is that there are several offerings that children love, like hot dogs and chicken fingers. Choices run the full gamut from corned beef on rye to chicken satay. A variety of non-alcoholic drinks are available right there or you can meander over to the Beer Tent next door for wine, beer and other alcoholic drinks.
Most food venders will serve Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Those marked with ♦ will be serving Monday as well. In addition, there are restaurants that will only be serving on Thursday. They are at the bottom of this list. Keep in mind that restaurants and their menu items are subject to change. Here’s a list of this year’s food choices:
