DId you know that Buffalo Grove Days has a tent just for kids? And, the best thing about it is that it’s FREE!. The Kids Tent offers crafts specifically designed for children ages two – 12. This year, the crafting projects include planter painting, cork characters, bead and jewelry making, and egg carton animal characters. While your children are busy building their budding artistic skills, there is also a wide variety of live entertainment geared just for them.

The Kids Crafts tent is located in St. Mary’s Field, just east of the food tent. It is open 12 noon – 5 pm on Saturday, Aug. 31, and 1 – 5 pm on Sunday, Sept. 1.
Keep in mind that there is also a wide variety of free entertainment around the fest. Some of the acts scheduled to roam the grounds are Ryan Freeman Balloons, Magic by Randy, Libby Green Stilts, Sunshine the Clown andJason Kollum Stiltwalking. Several characters will also be making appearances including Elvis, Snow White, Austin Powers and Lucy. Chicago’s sports teams are sending their mascots, so get ready to meet Staley the Chicago Bear, Benny the Bull, Tommy Hawk and Skates. Check our website for specific times for each of these acts.
