Want to help Hurricane Sandy victims? Here's the deal. Between now and November 17, a friend of mine in Wheeling will be collecting non-perishable food, new blankets and coats, hats, gloves, toiletries, diapers, flashlights, tools, and anything else you think a family who's lost everything can use. My friend, Marlene, lives in a townhouse and I'm guessing the association would not be too thrilled with a zillion people crowding her street. So if you want to donate, please e-mail me at realtorjennie@aol.com ASAP and I will pass along her address.
On November 17, friends of Marlene who lives in Tinley Park will pick everything up and drive it out to New Jersey. Evidently the Tinley Park family collected 21 boxes of supplies during Katrina, so they are darn serious about helping. Are you? Thanks in advance!
