Your Guide to July 4 in Buffalo Grove

The village will be home to fireworks and a symphonic band performance on July 4, 2013.

Buffalo Grove will mark the Fourth of July with music and fireworks. 

A two-hour performance by the Buffalo Grove Symphonic Band will begin at 7 p.m. July 4 at the Rotary Village Green, at Buffalo Grove and Old Checker roads, just north of the post office. The band will play a variety of contemporary and classic songs.

The annual fireworks show will begin at 9:15 p.m. The display can be viewed from Rotary Village Green as well as from the Buffalo Grove Golf Course or Willow Stream Park.

Viewers can enjoy a multisensory experience by tuning into the music set to the fireworks. The music will be broadcast over speakers at the Rotary Village Green and near the Village Bar & Grill. Others can tune their own radios to 88.1 FM to hear the music during the fireworks display.
