Members of the Buffalo Grove Fire Department Honor Guard participated in the Flag Day ceremony held June 14 at the Buffalo Grove Park District's Veteran’s Park.
The guest speaker was U.S. Army Col. Tom Cogdall. More than 100 people attended as members of the Armed Forces raised a flag for each of the five branches of the service and heard a history read of each of the flags.
