Buffalo Grove Starbucks Stores Participating in 'Giving Tree' Program
Items collected will be given to local foster children.
Nearly a dozen Starbucks locations in Lake and Cook counties — including three in Buffalo Grove — are participating in a "Giving Tree" program with CASA Lake County.
Trees with gift tags on them have been set up in 11 Starbucks stores, requesting items like coats, snow pants, snow boots, pajamas and undergarments for boys and girls.
Amy Foor-Noland, CASA Lake County volunteer, said this is the fourth year that the organization has partnered with Starbucks to collect items for local foster children. Items purchased by customers can then be returned to Starbucks.
The participating locations are:

- 195 S. Rand Road, Lake Zurich

- 1050 N. Route 83, Mundelein
- 1590 N. Rand Road, Palatine
- 271 Townline Road, Vernon Hills
- 1640 N. Milwaukee Ave., Vernon Hills
- 1240 E. Route 45, Vernon Hills
