Events for Buffalo Grove Farmers Market on 8/26

Buffalo Grove Farmers Market, 951 McHenry Road b/t Buffalo Grove Road and Deerfield Parkway at Mike Rylko Community Park.
 

A very warm thank you to all of the farmer/vendors who contributed their products to help us celebrate National Farmers Market Week.

***Congratulations to Doug, Laverne, Henry and Patti, the 4 winners of huge market baskets of goodies at the National Farmers Market Week raffle.***

Entertainment for Sunday, August  26th:  Mark Lyons will be performing folk and kids' music, with instruments for the kiddies to play along, from 10 AM to Noon. Ryan Freeman, of RCJuggle, balloon artist extraordinaire, will also perform from 10 AM to Noon. 

Non-profits for August 26th:  BGHS Expressions will have a bake sale and beverages for sale,  American Foundation for Suicide Prevention will be providing literature and United Way's Page It Forward Campaign will have a collection box for used or new children's books at the Information Booth. Please visit and support their organizations.  Please bring your non-perishables to help the Vernon Township Food Pantry.   The collection boxes are located at the Information Booth and we also accept cash donations for the pantry.

Farm and vendor offerings include:  breakfast and lunch pizzas, organic vegetables and herbs, cheeses, veggies, fruit, coffee beans/fresh brewed iced and hot coffee, meats, eggs, pastas, handmade fresh pies, jams, honey, plants, spices, maple syrups, heirloom mini veggies, mustards, mushrooms, baked breads/ muffins/cookies/pastries, dog biscuits and treats, knife sharpening, donuts made on site and much more.
