The Village Tavern in Long Grove Hosts Second Annual Booze, Brews & Blues

On Saturday, July 26 The Village Tavern will host their second annual outdoor Illinois Booze, Brews & Blues event from Noon to 7 p.m. This event is the first of its kind in Illinois and will feature award winning Illinois Spirit Distilleries and two local Long Grove Brewers: Emmett’s Brewing Co. and Spiteful Brewing, both with strong personal ties to Long Grove, sampling over 30 selections of spirits and beer from 1-5 p.m.

Guests have the option to purchase a beverage tasting ticket for $20 per person, which includes 12 spirit and beer samples.  Plus, enjoy Brats and Hand Pulled Pork Sandwiches from The Village Tavern and listen to live music courtesy of Rockin’ Johnny Blues Band from 4-7 p.m.

The Village Tavern is honored to welcome the owner of Emmett’s Brewing Company, Timothy Burns, who is a veteran of the United States military, a long-time Long Grove resident and a frequenter of the Village Tavern.  Not only will Burns provide Emmett’s beer tastings for the Booze, Brews & Blues event, he is also a generous donor and supporter of The Village Tavern’s Veterans’ Pig Roast & Concert and the Village of Long Grove.
