VERNON HILLS, IL – State
Representative Carol Sente, D-Vernon Hills, and her summer interns, are hosting
a Legislative Summit for Young Adults on Wednesday, July 31, from 6 to 7:30
p.m. at the Vernon Area Library located at 300 Olde Half Day Road in
Lincolnshire.
“This summer, my team of interns had the opportunity
to oversee the planning and implementation of an event to encourage their peers
to get involved in government and share their opinions,” Sente said. “I am hopeful
that future leaders from across the 59th District will be able to
attend and participate in a legislative discussion, as well as activities
designed by my interns, to make civics more approachable and inclusive.”
