Northwest Suburbs Organizing for Action (NWSOFA) June Meeting to be held at the Palatine Library

On Tuesday, June 17th at 7:00 p.m., Northwest Suburbs Organizing for Action (NWSOFA) will hold its June monthly chapter meeting at the Palatine Library. Special guest speaker will be Organizing for Action (OFA), Midwest Regional Director, Erik Carlson speaking on "Progressive Social Issues" that are shaping our future lives. Erik Carlson will outline what OFA is and how issues are determined....the 6 Key social issues of our times and how many of these issues are co-dependent on each other yet stand alone as an issue cause.  Also, the power of  unified Days of Action (DOA) across the country, not just your voice, but a chorus of voices focused and resonating.

This is a crucial time for many of our important issue groups: gun violence prevention, immigration reform, climate change, healthcare, women's rights, and fiscal and economic issues. The leaders of these issue teams will present the progress their teams have made and future events scheduled. Please join us and get involved in our progressive issues.
