Meet Holocaust Survivor Steen Metz

Local resident Steen Metz tells the story of his childhood in Denmark during the Nazi occupation and his family’s imprisonment in the Theresienstadt concentration camp.  In his memoir, “A Danish Boy in Theresienstadt,” Steen shares his family’s harrowing experience, their struggle for survival, and insights into the Nazi’s propaganda to the public about conditions in the camp.
