This course provides students with a fun introduction to
drawing concepts and processes through freehand application.
Lessons are progressive and include contour line drawing, visual
measuring and
sighting, shape quality, composition, value drawing, and master studies. Art concepts will stress linear and tonal
approaches to describe objects drawn from direct observation with a final piece
based on a self-portrait. Mediums employed will be graphite pencil, charcoal,
and conte crayon.
This is an 8 week class on Tuesday
