Wheeling's Winter Play Is Thriller, Wait Until Dark

Wheeling High School will present Frederick Knott's psychological thriller, Wait Until Dark, as its winter play. The production runs Thursday through Saturday, Jan. 24-26, at 7:30 p.m. in the school's Robert Sang Theater.

Three con men are on the loose, searching for heroin that has been hidden inside a musical doll in the home of a blind woman, Susy Hendrix. She and 9 year-old Gloria must try to outwit the intruders and protect themselves from the thugs' desperate mission. The play explores, "Which is more frightening–the evil you can see, or that which you can’t?"

Orin Xavier is the director with Derek Ellertson as technical director; Robert Kupon as costume and make-up manager, and Ann Wyatt as house manager.
