District 214 Offers FAFSA Completion Workshop Sessions

With high school seniors and their parents in mind, the District 214 College Counselors will sponsor two Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) Completion Workshops on Tuesday, Feb. 5, at 6:30 p.m. or 7:45 p.m. in the Wheeling High School Library. The school is located at Elmhurst and Hintz Roads in Wheeling.

Attendees will be able to accurately complete the FAFSA and successfully submit it to the U.S. Department of Education.

Families should bring their completed 2012 Federal tax return with W-2s and all attachments for both the college applicant and parents. Also needed is the driver's license number of the student, and an asset summary (excluding home equity and retirement assets) for both parents and students.
