Buffalo Grove's December Orchestra Concert Features Hampton Rock String Quartet

Buffalo Grove High School's String Orchestras are excited to share the school's Miller Theater stage on Wednesday, Dec. 5, at 7 p.m. with the renowned Hampton Rock String Quartet. Although the Orchestra program has decided to make this concert admission-free for the public, donations will be gratefully accepted at the door.

"We wanted to make this concert accessible to everyone in the community, despite our own cost," said BGHS Director of Orchestras Elizabeth Bennett.

The Hampton Rock String Quartet owns Mona Lisa Sound publishing company and arranges all of its own music.

"They perform mostly rock songs in an eclectic, great style!" said Bennett.  "Our special guest artists will come in to work with us during the day before they perform a joint concert with us that night."

Selections featured on the program include music by Led Zeppelin, Queen, Simon & Garfunkle, and Eurythmics, and much more.
