Buffalo Grove to Present Its 4th Annual Orchesis Dance Clinic for Area Youth

Buffalo Grove High School's 4th Annual Orchesis Dance Clinic will be held on Saturday, Feb. 16, from 8:30 a.m.-1 p.m. for all interested 4th-8th grade boys and girls in the school's attendance area.

The clinic, at a cost of $25 per participant, includes two master classes with the talented BGHS Orchesis dancers, a t-shirt and a snack, and the opportunity to perform for a parent audience at 12:30 p.m. that day in the school theater. Clinic participants should enter the school at the theater entrance, door #1, and meet in the BGHS Miller Theater.

Under the direction of Michelle Carrison and assisted by Jamie Kapsimalis, BGHS Orchesis is in its 40th year as a dance program and co-curricular activity.  The co-ed group encourages opportunities to perform and choreograph all dance art forms, including ballet, jazz, hip-hop, modern, breakdancing, lyrical, tap, character, multicultural, and more.
