Buffalo Grove Garden Club

The next meeting of the Buffalo Grove Garden Club is Tuesday January 8, 7:00 pm at the Alcott Center, 530 Bernard Drive in Buffalo Grove. This month's presentation will be by Steve Acktemeier of Lightscape, Inc. where he will share ideas for enhancing our home landscapes with lighting.


February's meeting (Tuesday, February 12 at 7:00 pm) will include a presentation by graphic designer turned landscape designer, Amy Malter, who will demonstrate how to focus on good design and move away from high maintenance gardens. She will teach how to analyze why things look good and why they don't. Bring a photo of your property if you wish to discuss.


March's meeting (Tuesday, March 12 at 7:00 pm) will highlight Dan Kaplan, past president of the Central States Dahlia Society. He will share his expertise from propagation through planting and summer care.
