Buffalo Grove Expressions to Present Another Preview Performance for Upcoming Competition

     Buffalo Grove High School's award-winning Expressions Show Choir will present its next competition preview performance on Thursday, Feb. 7, at 7 p.m. in the school's Miller Theater, 1100 W. Dundee Road, Buffalo Grove.  The Expressions will compete at the DeKalb Show Choir Invitational in Auburn, Ind., on Saturday, Feb. 9.  On Saturday, March 2, the group will then compete in the Chicagoland Showcase at John Hersey High School.  On Saturday, March 9, the Expressions will also compete in the Wheaton-Warrenville South Show Choir Competition.


     The Expressions recently competed at the Mt. Zion Invitational in Decatur, Ill., where the group won "Best Band" and placed "1st Runner Up" in Overall Performance. Junior Brian McCallister won "Male Grand Champion" for the individual solo competition.


     The Expressions, a mixed show choir made up of 41 singer-dancers, 13 band members and four crew members, is directed by Debora Utley and choreographed by Randy Sage.
