Experience the History of the modern State of Israel by examining the text and singing the melodies of some of Israel's most beloved songs.  A musical, educational, and participatory program. Hazzan Rachel Rosenberg is currently the Cantor/Educator of Congregation Rodfei Zedek in Chicago and is a founding member of the well known Chicago based band Shakshuka known for their unique fusion of Israeli and Sephardic music spiced with jazz.  Cost $10  in advance $15 at the door.  Reservations preferred either on line at www.bethjudea.org or by calling the synagogue office at 847-634-0777.
