Congregation Beth Am Bookfair

Our Book fair is November 10 + 1st night of Chanukah is November 27 = do some of that shopping at the Beth Am Bookfair

You purchase things at Barnes & Noble (books, CDs, coffee, nooks), and they will give a percentage of all sales back to Beth Am's school = a nice and easy fundraiser for Beth Am's school.

There is entertainment throughout the day.

11:00am-3:00pm Book signing with Raymond Benson, (CBA congregant and local author) He is author of 31 published books. His most recent work is THE BLACK STILETTO: STARS & STRIPES, the third book in the five-book Black Stiletto saga (www.theblackstiletto.net). His original Bond works are collected in the anthologies CHOICE OF WEAPONS and THE UNION TRILOGY. www.raymondbenson.com

11:30am-1:00pm Book signing with Michele Weber Hurwitz, (CBA congregant and local author) She will be signing copies of her middle grade novel, Calli Be Gold, which was named a Best Book of 2012 by the Bank Street College of Education. Check it out at www.micheleweberhurwitz.com

1:00pm-1:30pm Music performed by Kavannah (Beth Am’s youth choir) 1:15pm-2:00pm Calligraphy for all ages with Lynne Yura (CBA Congregant)

1:30pm-2:30pm Yiddish & English Storytime (for children of all ages) read by Paulette Kallow (CBA congregant)

1:30pm-2:00pm Story time with Morah Meyer (aka Ms Michelle for our JCC friends – this program is for all families with children ages 8 and younger

6:00pm-6:30pm Live Music by Blue Moon, This rock band is comprised of five children, including Congregation Beth Am’s own Ryan Carlson on vocals and guitar, and Bailey Carlson on bass.

All Day Wish list for Ronald McDonald House will be available Tzedakah project organized by Rochelle Greenwald (CBA Congregant) All are welcome.
