Buffalo Grove Symphonic Band - July Fourth Concert and Fireworks

Every year since the Band was started in 2001 it has performed for thousands at the Rotary Village Green before the Annual Fireworks Display. Bring a picnic basket and lawn chairs and join us for one of the Band's and the Village's favorite events of the year! Musical selections will include many forms of American music including marches, patriotic selections, Broadway hits, light classics, and of course the 1812 overture with simulated cannons! As always the Band will honor current members and veterans of the US Military. New this year will be a selection of marches where children can conduct the Band.

The concert begins at 7 PM and the fireworks show will begin at 9:15 p.m. The Rotary Village Green provides a fabulous view of the display. Viewers can enjoy a multisensory experience by tuning into the music set to the fireworks. The music will be broadcast over speakers at the Rotary Village Green and near the Village Bar & Grill. Others can tune their own radios to 88.1 FM to hear the music during the fireworks display.
