Buffalo Grove Bison Boosters 2nd Annual Comedy Jamboree

Join the Bison Boosters for a special fun-filled evening to start the 2013-2014 school year. We are proud to invite you to the Second Annual Comedy Jamboree to be held on Saturday September 7th, 2013 at the Buffalo Grove High School Theater. Last year's show was a laugh riot, and we're looking at top it this year! The show will feature the Morning Show Comedians – Mike Toomey, Pat Tomasulo and Ana Belaval.

Mike Toomey is a well known headliner at comedy clubs across the country. His quick wit, crowd work and clever anecdotes always guarantee laughs. He’s also a key contributor to the WGN Morning News, playing characters Skip Parker, Greg Smith the Reluctant Vampire, Lord of the Limerick, and many more. Mike has appeared on HBO’s Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen Colorado, on Comedy Central, Fox-TV, and has appeared in concert with Wayne Newton, Reba McIntyre and George Carlin. He was the featured act in last year's Comedy Jamboree and had the crowd in tears with laughter.

Pat Tomasulo anchors the Sports Desk on WGN's Morning News. His comedic style is similar to his wry and sarcastic sports reports - he sugarcoats nothing, while offering his observations on everything from the marathon, to why there are no “hot flight attendants” anymore.

Ana Belaval hosts the Around Town segment on WGN's Morning News. She brings the same energy to her stand-up as she does to her feature reporting. She’s daring, self-deprecating and quick to poke fun at her parents back home in Puerto Rico, who’ve yet to figure out the technological marvel that is Skype.
